Be Gentle I'm New Here
Greetings from across the pond
I am using a 2.5 V6 in my mid engine kit car and need some advice to squeeze out a bit more power.
Ok, first my existing mods:
MBE ecu with custom map - all emission stuff stripped away (back to basics)
Water pump removed & replaced with electric one
65mm TB
SVT upper & lower manifolds (with injectors)
Secondary butterflies & shafts removed (low end torque not a problem)
Custom stainless exhaust
K&N filter with ram pipe
Regarding the K&N filter, I would like to know if it would be better to have:
1. Short (200mm) 76mm ram pipe connected direct to throttle body with air filter. Cold air feed pointing to filter.
2. Long (1100mm) 76mm pipe from throttle body to ram air duct in airflow with air filter.
Would there be any advantage to have a long or short pipe on the TB?
Lastly, I have achieved 202bhp at the flywheel which is a little dissappointing so what other mods would you suggest?
Any help will be appreciated
