You Midwesterners know how to do it. Nobody's handing out free steaks in Massachusetts.

Last time I wanted to visit MA, Some dude named Elky had offered me free tube steak for the entirety of my trip. So I canceled and went to San Francisco instead..... :help:

Joe, I'm going to try and make it but no promises. Might talk Hetfield into coming as well, we'll see how busy i am when the time gets a little closer.

You haven't been around long enough to know how we do it up in New England, so bite your tongue. :p

Thanks for the laugh. I'm paying attention, and will be watching for events. Fact is, I was tempted to start a thread on a New England post, but wasn't sure if that would be viewed as a maverick move.

A group drive followed by a meal and a cold beer suits me. Maybe up 11 to 11B, through the woods and into Laconia. Alternatively, 32A, 122, and 202 encirlcle the Quabbin reservoir -- some beautiful roads. Plenty of good restaurants in either area. You're a bigger wheel than I -- interested in backing something like this?

Which ones? I can do that.;)

How far is this from the Chicago area?

Anyone and EVERYONE

Anyone and EVERYONE

Oh yeeeaah steve, free food and beer, not an april fool's joke! Meet starts as early as you can get here. 8:00am until whenever.

JOHNNY210 - these car/people meets are the best you might ever go to. It is always a good time. The free, good food, just helps aid in the interest to make the trip. It is the least I could do to get everyone to drive here.

NVMYSVT - pasta salad sounds yummers! I would love for you to bring that. Is it the same recipe that you took to josh's meet? I loved that shiznit! :p

SVT 22 - address is 219 spring st. Fox Lake, WI 53933

POLE! - you must come, bring what you are working on with you and strap hetfield to the freakin roof of your car!

tbirddriver92 - holy crap, snicker salad, bring it! That would be awesome...

I will start a list of attendeeeees later - JOE 920-344-6982

Put me down for possibly attending....

Do we have a time for this event yet?

let me know if you are interested in caravaning, same goes to all Madison area peeps.... :)

BTW -- I might bring 2 SVT's if someone feels like swappin a fuel pump and wiring up a voltmeter gauge in M!key's old car.
