I have a 2000 Contour SVT and I'm having cooling fan issues.
I don't have any fans at all High or Low, with a/c or without, when the car gets above 225F still nothing. I have turned the fans on via jumping them at the relay's in the fuse box under the hood. They both will come on when I jumper either one of them. I changed the temp senor for the PCU because it ohmed out at less then 27k ohms at 68f. I have ohmed out the resistor on the lower drivers side of the fans and it ohmed out at 3k. So it seemed to be fine. The only thing left I was going to check was to make sure the wire from the relay's to the PCU are still connected. When I check the pin config against my book they are not the same? Does anyone have a pin config chart for a 2000 Contour SVT that I can look at? The one in my Haynes book does not match what is in the car. Is there anything else I should check? I have been searching through old archives but no luck. Everyone seems to figure out there problem before I can fix mine. Thanks in advance I hope you guy's can help me.
