Wow.....
Only Fuse F11 is needed to reset the KAM. F4 can be left alone as it does nothing for the KAM.

This is not necessarilly correct. Stay tuned, details at 11. I will post a long explanation later. Have to go do something important.
I used to only pull Fuse 11 (for my 1996) to clear the code until I bought the OBDII code reader about 6 months before I joined CEG. When I first came onboard, I had some PM discussions about this. The reason given was the key, if inserted in the ignition, not necessarilly in the "ON" position, would still have power on for the ignition (Fuse 4 is for both DRL and ignition). This is for the 1995, 1996 and also 1997. Now, maybe the 98's (and 99s) were different but the 2000 would require Fuse 6 (Keep Alive Memory) and Fuse 11 (Ignition, EEC) to be pulled. So the answer given for Fuse 4 and 11 would cover all the bases. If you pull only Fuse 11 for a 2000, the car will run the same until it goes through the OBDII cycle and then what it takes for the car (maybe two more cycles) before the PCM turns the CEL off.It is correct. As long as the ignition switch is kept in the OFF position and there are no other wiring or electrical faults, pulling F11 is all that is needed. See the schematic for the power distribution for both F4 and F11 in the applicable EVTM.
