Its getting to be that time again: 2009 CEG Calendar

The car itself isn't an epic fail. Attempting to get it into the CEG calendar is.

To state "I know mine isn't much AT ALL to look at," do you really think you'd stand a chance at getting into the calendar?

It's not a matter of where the car starts. It's a matter of what you're willing to do to/with it to make it stand out of the crowd... in a good way. Like has been said - ditch the crap spoiler, ditch the steelies. And if you're going to spend all that time, effort, and money to get new lights, hood, and wheels, why not save up a little more and buy an SVT?
 
i'm not buying an SVT, i cant pass up the 35 mpgs right now. also, i think the Zetec has more of a chance of breaking into the 12's if i wanna go that extreame in the future. i know its not much of a looker yet, but i think the looks have improved a bit since last year.

edit: im sorry im being an asshole, but im just trying to knock some sense into you! im sure if you looked at every modified car magazine ever made, you will never see a 95 mystique. just saying... the car will never be appealing to me. but thats just my opinion

I need to find a good location, wash and wax the car and i`ll give it a shot. Here`s the best pics of it that i have right now, sorry cant find the higher res ones, should i go for it or find something else to do? :)

... Oops... guess I owe a lot of beer...

I just have no free time right now. So we may have a shorter submission time this year but by now people know to be taking pictures so I think we'll be okay.

My schedule will free up alot after the band breaks up after our last gig on Nov. 15, so I'll have the free time to make the calendar and do the other admin stuff after that... It's just finding the time now to get the submission post made. If I don't find time this weekend, I'll stick the files I need on a drive and just do it at work on monday.:rolleyes:

Pictures are looking good but remember, put some thought and effort into them.
