I replaced the CTS-V with a Honda S2000.

I'm sorry but how do you go from a CTSV to S2000:shrug:.

The CTS-V was getting me in too much trouble and I wasn't driving it like it was meant to be driven. No sense in having a 400hp/400 ftlb daily highway commuter. The only chance I really had to have fun was at stop lights and on and off ramps. The problem with the CTS-V is that you floor it, enjoy the sound and feel of the car, look down at the speedo and realize that you are going way too fast. It is easier to drive a slower car fast, than drive a really fast car slow.

Here is an example:

Merging onto the highway can be a great excuse for having some fun running through gears. In the CTS-V that could lead to driving too fast. In the S2000 I can have fun accelerating to 9k RPM's without getting the kind of speeding ticket that gets you arrested.

$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

money had little to do with why I made the switch. A true auto enthusiast would look past the price tag and realize that both cars can be just as desirable for very different reasons. The CTS-V is the ultimate sleeper with torque and acceleration that puts a grin on your face. The S2000 has go cart like handling that can put that same smile on your face.

basically what is summarized in this article:

My brother just traded in his 05 SRT4 stage 2 w/toys for a 01 Honda S2000 with 9k on it. I road in it for the first time a few weekends ago... very impressive. Crazy fun and handles like a dream.

3000GT VR4. when i bought it, all stock and needs a good cleaning. it now has some mods but the engine bay still needs a good cleaning, been trying to come up with a good way to clean it without spending all day with a tooth brush.
