this is a se 2.5 with gutted cat stock res and no muffler..... im soon to be running dual 3.5"x18" tips on this set up..... total cost will be $125 at local exhaust shop, cost to date.... $5 for replacement bolts at cat to remove to gut...
IMO, can't beat the sound for price ratio...
Yeah that doesn't sound bad...especially with that price.
He said he has cheap mufflers on the back which can sound raspy just like the stock mufflers do but you have magnaflows on the back which usually sound deep instead of raspy.
My mufflers have a little tone to them, but they aren't as deep as I'd like. I just called them "cheapy" mufflers because I got them on Ebay and I forget the brand. But they definitely don't sound like the bumble bee Hondas.
After reviewing some soundclips, I think I might try the straight-pipe section inplace of res. It would be the cheapest route, so I could always do something different if I don't like the way that turns out. But I'm not sure how soon I can get up to the local exhaust shop...
Thanks,
Frank
