Maserati MC12 in the Snow!

that guy is the biggest piece of work I have ever seen.

You dont drive a car that costs that much money in the winter, I dont care how much money you have, its just stupid.

The paint chips, the scrapes, hitting the wall, I found myself cringing every time I saw some kind of damage.

Take that man's money away.

Meh, you can do whatever you want when you have that kinda money. Only those of us without that kinda money think it's stupid.

I don't think it was a good idea to take it out in the snow, but I do agree with his sentiment that cars are meant to be driven.

Having seen that though, I had no idea exactly how impractical supercars can be in general traffic!

The rock chips make the car look meaner.. dear God :nonono:

I like what the dude who did the most expensive detail on that same maserati said.. he has a client who sits in his garage with a glass of wine and just looks at his Porsche.

It's a car. It's meant to be driven:rolleyes:

I applaud the dude for actually driving the dang thing. Who gives a crap how, when and in what he drives it...pansies are the ones who spend copious amounts of cash on cars and put them in a climate controlled room. This dude is truly passionate about his cars and actually drives em. Take notes dude... Considering that he could afford the car, he can afford to have it repaired and repainted if need be. If I had enough money to buy something like that, you bet your ass I would drive it. Only the envious and spiteful talk trash.

i hate that show. they do nothing but critizie american cars and say they arent refined enough. total BS. plus what iddiot ddrives a million dollar car in the snow?? Dumb if you ask me

If you want a fast car go buy an ariel atom.

Cars are meant to look good too. Sad to see I respect my $5000 contour more than a supercar.

BTW a respray for that car will run >$50000. You applaud that?

So? Who gives a :censored::censored::censored::censored:. The guy has lots of money and buys nice cars, can afford to fix them, and he likes to drive those nice cars. Who cares. Life goes on. And im sure he doesnt give one whit what some person on a Contour site thinks.

If you had say $50 million cash sitting in the bank, you wouldn't even own a Contour.

Just how we think that rich folks are out of their minds, we have no idea of their mentality. Just like they don't know what it's like to have to worry about sales, balancing their checkbooks, or if they've got enough in savings our not.

They think COMPLETELY different.

Back about 8 years or so ago me and my friend were over his buddy's house. These guys are older than me and they were in their early 40's then. Anyway, his buddy's place is a BRAND NEW $750,000 townhouse and we ended up locked out on the deck while he was giving us a tour. Instead of calling and waiting for a locksmith, he just kicked the door in and said he'll have someone come over and fix it.

From my understanding this guy clears about $1.5 million a year. Although, I was appalled, fixing a $1,500 door was like putting a dollar in a coke machine to him.

Exactly.. These type of people's thinking is completely different. While some people here would still own their Contours if they came into money there are alot that wouldnt even care about Contours anymore, as they would be out buying much nicer cars.

Really expensive cars arent built to sit in a climate cintrolled building somewhere. If that was the case they would never put the money and time they do into the engineering of those cars. Different expensive cars are made with different features, which arent meant to sit around and not be used. Obviously they should be properly cared for, but why let them sit and rot? If I had alot of money I would own nice cars. They would not be my daily drivers but I would drive them on weekends and special occassions.

if you think thats bad, a ferrari modena pulled up next to me last week. this was in the worst storm of the year

If i were rich, i'd buy somthing nicer to race on a track and garage the CSVT b/c i would be in fear of something breaking on it. But why would you ever race anything in the winter anyways is my question?????? Unless you got a rally car that can do it in the snow. But whatev....his money he can do what he wants.

Yeah I guess I do applaud that... I could actually care less what the dude does or does not do, and that is the point. What is yours?
