same here.I have a similar setup, by my filter sits just on top of my sub frame. This location seems much less susceptible to deep puddles and other road hazards.

You can try a mid-90's Subie hood scoop. They can be had for a relatively cheap price...
wouldn't that ruin the whole ram air idea?Having the scoop feed a pipe to the air box and make it so its not directly facing the filter so any water that goes in the scoop will settle in the box then put a drain hole in the bottom or something.
not really so long as the box is sealed against the hood because it would still be pressurized.
