New pics of SC done

Well I was going to fire it up today but the belt is just not tight enough so I am going get a larger idler pulley tomorrow the smallest belt I can get is 29" belt so we will just have to make the idler make up for the difference. I will have a video tomorrow night it will be neutral accels and plan on running the car on the streets by Tuesayd and dyno Wed or Thurs I will post of the video link tomorrow. Here are the final pics of the engine bay done. I only hope this whine sound is as good as the looks of this setup does now. Joey

I was confused because I saw th picture of the Fusion and there was talk about hood clearance. So it clears both the Fusion and M6 hood? Is this being mocked up on a Fusion or M6??? If it's a Fusion, the AWD would definitely be sweet! I'd buy one just to put this kit on it

Nick the supercharger right now is sitting in a mazda 6. And it clears the hood with plenty of room.

It's def a beauty isn't it :)

I really want to see an in car video of him driving this around.

Ok I found the 3.5" pulley to tighten up the belt I had to remove the arm and trim more room for the larger idler to allow for clearance. I had to paint the bracket again and I was swamped today with orders to ship same day so tomorrow I have to finish up a few customers orders and then I should be back on track tomorrow. I am sorry I am only one guy with orders coming in as we speak ......lol wich I had a helper. Things look good I will have the car started tomorrow evening i have to mock up something for Marty which I put on the backburner for a week or two to try to finish up the SC but heck it been over a year what is one more day......lol ........next post it will be the one you want..........I hopeeeeeeeeeee

hey joey,

sorry i havent called you about the hood for the contours yet, ive been swamped with school starting back up. i dont have class friday so i will give you a call sometime that afternoon

Nice to be swamped with orders in this economy!

Well Bad news one of the injector I could seal because the prototype was revised so many times the injectors seat were compromised I took 30 mins and removed the whole kit for those wondering how hard it would be to go back to stock. I two days the manifold to my machinist.......goosh I can't wait till he moves down here in three weeks where these problems will no delay me. I had the video camera setup and was putting n the new tune when I smelled fuel and discovered a leak I supsected would be an issue but now it will be 100% right. I am looking at end of next week now...........sorry guys. Joey

do you think that fabrication of some mounts that lower the engine/trans an inch will be enough to clear the CF cowl hood? i guess i would need some measurements to be sure.

You run the risk of changing the whole dynamics of the car itself...a problem that nobody would want to tackle....But it has been brought up before. Good question.

At that point you might as well make some mounts so the engine will bolt in back behind the seats where hood clearance is no longer a problem.

Sounds like a plan...whose going to try this first.. ^^ Dyoel?

Joey...whats happening with this?

The manifold is shipping out Monday to me so I should have it Thurs and hopefully have the dyno schedule next Monday. The customer gave me two more months to finish the car since we missed the Feb schedule. For thoses going to Spring Zing we will have a red SVT with this kit on it too. You can see it in person too there. Joey

joey, we need to talk. i'd like to see a black svt there with one as well. hood clearance isnt an issue, i have mine jacked up :p

We fired the engine up no fuel leaks runs great now we will remove the hood tomorrow and go take it for a spin to put a load on it. The car runs like stock in neutral A/F dead on and really looks great under the hood. I will post videos tomorrow night of it for you all to see. joey
