Wait till you see my SVT next spring- I've acquired my new setup :)

2000, looks good! but yes, needs camber to look proper!

WIDE BODY TIME!! This needs to be done. Make some of you own flairs out of fiberglass and keep the mold in case you damage yours or we all love them so much....that you have to make some for us!! lol

Sean....you keeping yours??

I'm in a predicament.

I'll have my custom splitter painted within the next few days.. but I'll be switching to 15" steelies by November 16th. I also have lower Eibach springs that I was gonna put on in the next two weeks.

I think I have this "spring mods" thing backwards :)

I'm gonna lower the car for sure.. but it's gonna be so painful painting the splitter and letting it sit for 4 months.

it's this splitter:

On a last note.. I REALLY want to knauberize my doors. I did it on my TRed at 80k miles with no problems... but am I gonna have fading issues pulling my ding guards off now at 85k miles on a black SVT? The ding guards are way dinged up.. and I wanna remove them and install an audi sidemarker.

I am sure you will be fine...a little wetsanding and buffing the doors..and they will look so good....you'll have to do the rest of the car. lol

5x120 lug pattern 17" rims BBS Style 42's - 1.375" spacers - 20mm offset - 8" wide rims - currently running 225 tires. Will be going to 215 sooner than later.

Adapters from... http://www.motorsport-tech.com/ ... one of the only places that gives you a lifetime warranty. Definitely recommend.

Been thinking about doing a widebody we'll see. Redoing the interior from head to toe comes first though.

Awesome. I just got done talking to one of the reps from motorsport tech about adapters not too long ago. Now that I know someone on here has run them, it gives me more confidence in getting adapters. I'm only gonna do either 20mm or 25mm.

How do you like them?

I like them a lot. They are very high quality and I do not fear having them on my car. I definitely would not have gone this route with adapters from just anybody. From what I saw the market for adapters is fierce meaning there is almost no price variation for custom adapters. I looked around a lot and they are all the same price and this place definitely has the best representation and a lifetime guarantee like I said which I did not see any other manufacturers boasting.

Be aware if you go this route you need to either get shorter wheel studs or knock them out and grind them down like i did. I literally spent all day mounting these wheel (225s...dont do it).

this is why I lucked out and found some sick 4x108 peiced rims. Tucked under the 1/4 with custom control arms for adjustment, and clears the D2s. 10'' wide.
