Regular se lims are identical except that they have a smaller bore. If he is drilling them out etc etc then it shouldn't matter overall.

Is 195 included with shipping back to us?

I would have to disagree with that one. Simply boring a hole, and tapering one, are typically two entirely different worlds. I would expect the price to be higher if the holes were tapered.

thats my point tho. i've never done one b4 so i have no idea how much it'd cost. for the performance upgrade to be felt and enjoyed, i just assumed the tapering would have to be done also.

iirc, the head inlet port is 34.5mm. If these LIMs are just drilled out 37mm and 34mm...you're gonna have a nice lip on the secondary side. A tapered reamer is the way to go. LIM inlet port size less important..outlet should match head inlet size..cos you don't want to futz up the extrude hone finish in the heads, when porting it..:ponder:G

i think they are both 32.5mm.. I ported both mine to match the LIM...made a noticeable difference, thats why i think it is important to match the LIM to heads... .G.

I'm wanting to use these on a set of hogged heads. But here are my current (and non-hogged heads) measurements:

max extruded UIM:
... primary exit: 34.270
... secondary exit: 35.550

LIM:
... primary entrance: 33.420
... primary exit: 32.545
... secondary entrance: 34.890
... secondary exit: 34.070

Heads:
... primary port: 34.290
... secondary port: 34.490

It just dawned on me...but what gaskets are you guys using on these 37mm LIM.
Are you guys cutting the lim gasket to mate to the intake? what gasket is being used?

My 2cents:

I can almost bet that there will be no taper on the LIM, it will be more work for the supplier.

Also, i have a original Shoshop LIM, and i am currently porting my 3L to match it, so I'll be one step ahead of you guys. So far i have had to make the bugzuki plates bigger to adapt to it, i haven't lined up the LIM gasket yet but IIRC, it didn't need any trimming (Fel-Pro gasket). I'll take a look wed and get back to you.

Well i didn't think for 195 it would be tapered.

When did my UIM gasket match, there is no way it would cover a 37mm port. Then again i used a motor craft gasket.

We currently use a straight through bore. A tapered bore would be much more
difficult (for the design of the butterfly plate and the machining of the
housing). If a tapered design is absolutely required, let me know, but it
would significantly increase the complexity.

$195 is the cost of the part; shipping should be about $15-20 in the US.

I will work on the group buy ad tonight.
