Nope. i can get one for 40 dollars shipped :shrug: Thats off a 2001 cougar too.

Here is a good question, are they going to port the primary and secondary ports? Or just one port?
 
My wife lost her job last week. I have enough for this gb set a side, but if she can't get a new job soon... I may have to pull out. She's been interviewing and may start as early as next week (fingers crossed), but if she doesn't get that job..... I don't know.

Thats fine but it seems a lot of people are all talk and no walk. Its fine if you are facing hard times. Its hard to fork out thousands for something we have no clue if it will sell.

We would love to support the Conotur but we need some help here.

I believe I said it before, I won the extrude hone gift certificate at SZ. I was planning on getting that, this LIM, and I have been looking into the cost of getting my heads port matched to this LIM. Im still looking into getting my heads done, I work for a guy who owns 7 NAPA stores. Most of them have machine shops, one of them told me I am looking at around $1 a minute for the headwork. Still trying to figure out if that is a good deal or not.....then of course is all that work worth it on the 2.5?

Lets get enough people interested before we start sending out money.

If only we had a test sample to show on here.

It would be great if we can get a hold of one and dyno it so we can see some results. I bet people would be throwing money down on this for sure.
 
If i can ever get my car finished, i guess i could do a dyno run SVT intake VS my sho-shop

I dunno though from the looks of it doesn't seem worth my time.

Not only that...but we all need a hand....i think ceg has helped you enough with all the information that has been given and answered when you posted questions. What do you want??? us to do it for you? Is that the help you want from ceg.:help:


Okay back on topic.....to more important things. Is there anyways we can get a prototype done? I know it;s not possible but i think thats the major hold up. People want to see a finish product.
 
That's what I said before Harrry, but I also understand there position about not wanting to put up the money. Like you said, I think a prototype to be seen would make this take off.
On a side note, my ST220 UIM is on its way from the UK :)
Now the question is do I want to make a max-effort oval port 3L w/ ST220 UIM or sell it to use this LIM and a max honed SVT UIM. Decisions, decisions.

Why doesn't someone just port an LIM, source some larger butterfly plates & dyno it? That would at least put y'all in the ballpark for expected gains.

Though I have to say that I don't see this doing much, if any good, without an opened-up UIM.
