my dad has wanted me to get a permit for a long time so if something happens to him the state can't come in and take them , maybe I should get on that:ponder:
 
How difficult (or easy) is it to get a carry permit in NY?
Even though I've had a carry permit for years, I still need to wait up to 45 days for the background check.
The Sheriff's Department takes your mug shot...er.. picture and you sign the application in their presence with two forms of photo ID. Pretty simple here.

New pet peeve ,I just went to go pickup a pizza I hit the key fob trunk button put the pizza in the trunk drive less than a mile get out of the car hit the key fob again and nothing :mad: Well I can hear it but nothing:mad: So I try my key in the lock, frozen it's like 10 degrees out I keep working back and fourth between the key fob and the lock Then my wife comes out and she's like did ya try the key :rolleyes: ah ya, ok well did ya try the release in the car :rolleyes: ah no :nonono::blackeye: I fail:blackeye: I got a frazzaled cause the key fob release motor wasn't working BAD DAY AT WORK DIDN'T HELP EITHER:crazy:

Pet Peeve:

Catching no traction in second gear and having the engine go from 4500ish rpm to 15000ish rpm in the span of about a second while fish tailing and laying rubber.

EXTREMELY difficult. wtf do you need to carry a gun for anyway?
 
I don't carry as much as I used to. I carried all the time when I went to the "scary" side of town though.
 
did I mention power window buttons in the center console :shrug: and that my Contour doesn't have that extra glove box deal like my Mystique:(
