Pet Peeves.

being sent home from work 4 hours early because there is no work  at least I still have job though

got another ... people who continue to make left turns when the left turn arrow has turned off and the opposite direction has the green light ... does anyone have any pacience any more?

^ No, unfortunately they don't. :(

I like when someone pulls out in front of you, no one is behind you so they could have waited and then they give you the finger.

I just wave frantically like the're a long, lost friend whenever someone gives me the middle finger...they usually give me a bewildered look after that

jackass drivers .... on the way into work had someone in an acura tl or something like that blow through the red light from the off ramp at a good clip. if I was 10 seconds earlier they would have hit me. down the road in traffic they keep looking around the cars in front of them. go over a bridge and hit a red light. driver pulls over the double yellow line from the left turn lane, goes around 3 cars through the red light, over the train tracks and through the next light that had turned red to make a right hand turn.

:nonono:

that actually sounds more like someone had an emergency if they were that desperate. Is there a hospital nearby?

I would agree, but sounds like they were being a little to reckless at the same time, better to arrive a minute or so later than not arrive at all.

not that I am aware of. then they should have had their hazzard lights on and been honking the horn or something. on the bridge they stopped for a at first before taking off around the cars.

edit: nope no hospitals near by.

I will be commuting to Boston 2 days a week.
I will be comp'ed for each travel, and will have a 3rd workstation down in Boston.
I have a difficult decision regarding my place of residence. I do love my tiny apartment - odd as that may sound to Kim. :p However, moving back to MA earlier than planned is now a realistic consideration upon receipt of today's news.

(I am very thankful to still have a job in this economy, especially one that remains with employee considerations such as receiving travel compensation.)

Dacker -- it's a 2 hour drive each way if you leave at 6am and are lucky with traffic; more if you sleep in, hit an accident, or other travel woes. The best deals: Parking is $7/day at the Alewife garage at the end of Rt 2 (spots are gone after 9:30am) plus $4 subway round trip; $10 at a certain garage in Boston across the channel (early bird rates only, $17 if you stay after 5pm); or you can take a bus from Londonderry NH for $20/day. I have coworkers who pay upwards of $400/mo to have a dedicated parking spot in Boston.
