Stab-O-Shock

what is the stab-o-shock and where does it go...? I'm dumb....

The stab-o-shoc was exclusive to SVT's. It is possible to add 1 to a regular Duratec powered vehicle but it entails 2 special brackets and an SVT front lower mount.

I cannot comment on what it's like with solid poly filled mounts. I drove an SVT with them and found the harshness overwhelming. My setup is SVT front lower with the ES insert, SVT rr lower, an early RH upper filled with poly and a stock later LH upper with the Street Link. With a LSD and boxed front A arms I can launch hard with zero wheelhop. Extra NVH is minimal.

Try SVTSnob as I believe he did have the SL and the solid roll restrictors.

Bill: There was a screwup with my rod end supplier. I didn't get the rod end until late yesterday (supposed to have it thursday) and when I called Aaron he had already left (got off work early). Oh yeah, it's a secret!

ran me 150 shipped with all hardware, powdercoated link, and all brackets to connect it to SE models (I have a cougar).

Great stuff. Love it.

Thats exactly what i need. and the car i have. I tried PM'ing him but his mailbox is full so I have a feeling that everyone is wanting one.

Hey guys. I cleared out my PM box (somewhat). I won't run a GB as I make these 1 or 2 at a time and there's really no way to speed up the process or cut costs by making more. I send them out for TIG welding and my weldor won't give me a quantity discount.

I replied to those who did get through to my PM. You can also send me an email...

Stealthy got a complete non SVT kit with the 2 brackets. Now I did it for him as I had a pr. of used brackets BUT they were the only ones I had. For SVT owners the SL is a straight drop-in.

Before I forget, the SL is $80 + shipping. Ciao.

brad do you make tubular front control arms

Hey Josh. I don't and have no plans to either. There's a HUGE liability issue and I couldn't afford the insurance to protect myself. At least at the rr of our cars there are 3 arms per side so if 1 failed you could proabaly maintain control of the vehicle. If a front A arm failed no doubt there w/b be a crash.

Eventually, I'll make replacement bushings for 4 bolt A arms but that's as far as I'll go. Sorry.

How about replacement 2 bolt bushings... even with rubber? I'd hate to throw away your boxed a-arms when the bushings wear out again.
