Front is plenty stiff already due to proximity to firewall.

Primarily an appearance item - and lots of guys get PO'd when told this.
Before you ask, No, I have never installed on one of my cars. I trust my own engineering judgment with this backed up by the experience of a large number of really knowledgeable enthusiasts who have tried every type of suspension modification on road and on the track. I trust their assessments.
In contrast, the rear bar is a real improvement in every way. Truly noticeable in even slightly spirited driving. Definitely one of the first suspension mods I would do. It will even "cure" some of the annoying squeaks and groans from these 10+ year old flexing chassis.
The problem is finding a rear bar...
