Hello all. This is the official invitation to head out to my place Sat. the 24th. I'm gonna be helping teamSVTTour put on a set of springs, and maybe a few UIM/LIM cleanings as welll. I thought we could get some beer, fire up the grill, and just mess with the cars.

Also, Grant (shavedsvt) graduates from Wyotech the 23rd, and he's heading back to Michigan, so it would be a chance to give him a send off. I know Mike and Rob have said they'd be down for it, everyone else chime in. Hope to see you all.

I'll be down for sure, but I gotta figure out where i can order the UIM/LIM parts and if i can even get them on time.

So i'll be there but we may not be able to do the cleaning this time. But we could jack my car up and take a look at the rear suspension... I am getting a knock when I disengage the clutch under medium to hard acceleration.

do you remember how much the parts list for a proper cleaning cost? I just would like a general idea before i would go in there and be all "what? it's how much?!" lol

IIRC the gaskets were about 20, the o-rings were about 10, a couple cans of berryman's about 8, don't remember about the EGR or TB gaskets. Hope that helps. I got about 12 brushes, so you don't need them.

I'm going to make sure the g/f doesn't have any plans since she will be back in town on her spring break, but otherwise I should be there.

ouch, thats a little more than i expected it to be... I think i'm going to wait until im not so tight on cash. I did do the chemical cleaning less than a year ago i think.

I'll still be down to the suspension party though. Maybe i'll be talked into getting the parts this week.

Don't forget about the Koni's :D. I can't wait to get this on! I was contemplating the UIM and LIM cleaning but I think the suspension swap might be enough work in itself.

Holy freaking crap!

Guess I'm out. I thought freedom was alot closer. You damn near the other side of the state on the same parallel though.

But I guess thats okay cause my car is shunned as the ugly duckling anyway

Would have like to meet some other CEGer's and grant before he leaves.

That is a drive! Almost as far as I drove to TGO's house to pick up his CF EVO hood .

Oh well, maybe next time :)

it's really straight forward...considering your car isn't full of rust and gonna require lots of bashing to break things loose.

Yeah, my dad drove the car today and he thinks something is loose in the rear suspension. Or broken... hopefully not broken. Anyways, since we're not doing my intake, you think we could get it up and take a look at the rear end? I don't really know what to look for in broken suspension bits.

yeah speaking of bringing stuff, what should i bring?

Oh the joys of being done with spring break and pulling an all nighter to finish a presentation that i have to give tomorrow :blackeye:

so hows about letting an outsider into the party next week?

I can bring beer, cook or lend a hand.

More than welcome. Really not too far, just north of Pittsburgh. Ryan, we can def. check that out. I'll let you all know if I need anything. Ummmm.....I could use a fuel pump.
