i am glad you guys got it done!!. post some pics of that now. scott my springs are sitting there right? i will most likly get them in a week or 2 if that is not a big deal. i had a good time. i got a few parts i needed. that rear bumper, a new imrc box and a set off svt duals. to go with the rear. aslo scott i seem to have left with your set of pliers. i got them in the car so i will get them back to you when i get my springs. sorry about that.

springs? what springs? Oh.....my Eibach's. We forgot you wanted them and threw those things in the dumpster.

P.S. my car feels like its driving on rails now. This setup has got me :drool:. Give me a few weeks for the springs to settle and throw on the 18's and I'll post some pics.

Oh and Scott. As soon as my front 2 wheels pulled out of your garage. There were two little thumps. So I think that was the springs getting seated around the perch. I'm glad they seated themselves since we were a little unsure where it was supposed to sit b/c the fronts didn't have a distinct locking point on the perch like the rears do.

My pre-98 trunk w/ lip and exhaust seemed like a big hit. Also the rest of my "all my cool mods" - Scott. I think I had a few converts on the pre-98 trunk. Most ppl said that when looking at pics of the pre-98 weren't a big fan but after seeing one on my car in person they loved it.

pre 98 trunk pwns. looks eleventy billion times better than the 98+ trunk.

really?? I can't really remember...but i'm 99% sure they all had a "stop" for the spring.

They all have stops, its just that there is a ridge on the fronts but it is not as pronounced as the rears are. The rears has a spot where the bottom of the spring basically plugs into into a spot on the perch and keeps it from spinning , the groove in the perch kinda looks like this ___|---. The front struts have a groove that look like this __/--- but the the slant is not as steep as that illustration so the spring can slide anywhere on that little ramp.

Glad to see all went well with the suspension install . It ALWAYS takes longer than expected . I've done it a few times on Contours , and each time there's something that drags the time along . It's not a "hard" job though ...
