svt# 0001

You might be thinking of "Puff", the silver one with the nitrous hooked up to it and some other minor appearance changes... it was out at SZ '02 (I think that's the year)... Todras or WorldTour might still have some pics of it from that show.

#2150 is Toreador Red.

00svt no it was bone stock , i got to sit in it. No nitrous at all from inside or under the hood.

Maybe they just owned a few contour svts..

I know my friend who worked at john Collete's house party doing vale parking. Said John Collete had a svt contour in his garage.

Here you go..

Different seat design would also impact crash results. I don't know the federal requirement for how different a car can be without being retested. I still have a duplicate window sticker I requested for my SVT.

They don't offer those anymore after a certain amount of years, do they?

I'll bring my picture bag. I probably have a pic of Puff SOMEWHERE, if I can also get the right year selected.

I don't know what the sticker limitation is, but there probably is one.

You wouldn't have seen anything from the inside... it was all electronically regulated through throttle position. I haven't seen the car in years, though and IIRC you had to look pretty hard for the solenoids under the hood. If you just glanced it over it looked bone stock. Only thing different on the inside was the custom steering wheel.

Yeah, seats will do it. Crash-testing is also the reason the car never got a dead pedal (would've required another $100K+ just to crash it).

I looked real good under the hood. It was bone stock.

Steering wheel was original also.
