Tail Lights

Ok so I was looking around the internet and I seen some cars with the Euro tail lights on them and I thought that would look good on my Contour.(As you can see by my name it's a 96). But I looked around and haven't found any that are made for a '96 or any Contour for that matter. I was wondering if maybe some one got a pair from somewhere that I maybe could get a pair?

there are no such tallights for our cars. anything you want has to be custom.

Well that sucks the chrome would have looked good with the green. Thanks anyway.

u can make clears by knocking out the red outer shell on mystique tail lights i forget what years

Amarv cleared the tails on his Mystique. There is no chrome trimmed Fusion-style tail for our cars though.

I made a set of clear tails as well, but i sold them shortly after. I don't have pics on this comp but i can post a couple if i find them.

what about clearing them and the puting a lite coat or nite shades over them just enought to take the rice out. add a set of real bright red lights.

Then why bother, just tint the regular tails with clear bulbs.

Agreed. I'm glad there are so few ricey visual mods for the Contours.

I made one set, and i don't really want to do another, plus i don't really have the time to find lights, buy lights, etc.

here's a quick photoshop on a silver SVT. This would be cleared tails with a slight smoke to them.

These definitely look best on a white car, as anyone who has seen pics of Amarv's will attest. Tinted on a silver frost looks pretty good per the 'chop, but does the Mystique center panel have the white behind the red like the tails do? If not then I'd say skip it on any color car other than white.

would any one wanna make me a set????for a fair price, plus lights. also i guess i should state my idea. i am going to take my pre 98 trunk lid and get rid of the inner tail lights. weld in a plate and mold it over.mold the license plate bracket in also for the smooth look. then i am putting a single reverse light in the lower mesh in the svt rear, only seem when the car is in reverse. Just trying some thing different. if i do it and don't like it back to oothe post 98 trunk lid. i gota few ideas over the winter.

I dunno...the more I look at that 'chop, the more I like the smoked clear all the way across on the silver. Hmmm....Might have to pick me up a Mystique trunk and tails.
