So less than 24 hours from online ordering tires in my hands. Pretty good considering I paid only $40 shipping for UPS Ground.

Tires great shape, this lower sidewall profile will look sweet on my CSVT E1 rims. FYI - tires "Made in Germany"
 
Talk about timing! I had a blow-out last night, (thankfully in the rear and driving slow). I'm ordering mine when I get home. :cool:
 
Glad this helped some people out!

I would have got some, but 16" won't clear my Baers :nonono: at least with the 16" rims I would want to use, so I'll be sticking with my 18".

Don't worry about it. The tire rack is kinda like eBay and craigs list. If you look every day, you'll find a killer deal. But like eBay and craigs list, you have to act fast on these deals. Take me for example. I just purchased a t-boned jag x-type AWD for a thousand bucks. 35k on the clock, and it's a five speed. Now there is also a focus zx3 on craigs list for $1200 that I'm trying to get. By the time that I sell what I don't want from the two, I'll be about a thousand out of pocket.

My brother just ordered up a set of 205/50/16's for his Mystique which is running worn out and dry rotted KDW's.

Did you get a mail in rebate with your tires? My brothers tires showed up but no paperwork for a rebate. It's possible they don't offer it on the closeout tires and only regular priced sizes.

No they didn't send me a rebate form with tires. But you can download it off their website. Very bottom of page.

If anybody needs the October rebate form I still have that also.

Per Goodyear form the closeout tires qualify for $50 rebate as nothing mentioned otherwise. All requirements can be met with TireRack invoice shipped with tires.
 
The link states you won't receive the rebate form when the tires arrive. It will arrive later in the mail.


"Tire Rack will mail a redemption form (also available here) and a copy of your invoice to your billing address within 2-3 weeks. You will need to complete this form and submit it, along with your invoice (website order placed page and order/shipment confirmation emails not accepted). An invoice will also be shipped with your order.
If you do not receive your redemption form by mail within 3 weeks of shipment, please

I read the terms of the rebate later last night and noticed that the offer ended October 25th. His order was made after so no rebate for us. :(
 
They do work fast. I placed my order at 3:30 pm yesterday. Got the confirmation the order shipped from Louisiana the same day and is already in my area scheduled for delivery today.

I had no problem going with a 205/50/16 as that just happened to be the size tire that was already on my car when I bought it a year ago. I never even realized that was a smaller than stock size till yesterday.

Wow! That was changed late last night or sometime this morning. I know for a fact last night it said October 25th was the cut off. Thanks!
 
If people are unsure about the rebate process, I ordered some goodyears about a month and a half ago that came with a $40 rebate. The form came about 1-2weeks after the tires. So you should not have to do anything except wait for the form.
