Tons of SVT Contours for sale...

Bought my 2000 CSVT a year ago with 62k on the clock.. almost all stock and in great condition... purchased her for about 7,200 out the door.......

what did you pay?
i got my 99 with 92k and very very clean for 3,800

Damn. I got reamed as well.

2000 CSVT 83,000mi SUPER CLEAN though. And it was within driving distance.

$7,895

It gets worse, the Sunroof didn't work (still doesn't) and the parking break was (still is) broken.

DUAL POWER SEATS - what??? Did they ever come with dual power seats?

did you see the one on ebay now which claims that SVT's have dual heated seats? ummm.... huh? it's got a decal of the production numer on the front bumper (like the Saleen Mustangs) so it had to have been someone from CEG who owns or owned it.

BTW -- TOTAL purchase price for all 3 SVT Contours = $7100.00 :)

There were 3 in the local auto trader when I purchased my car in april.

Going off of memory here but I still have the ad book at the house.

A Silver 98 120k for 4k
A black 2000 90k with some chrome wheels and bassani exhast etc for 9000
And the car I purchased a Silver 2000 52k all stock except the $1000+ sound system 7500 wich I then got him to take $500 off.

I just bought mine yesterday, a 99 SVT with 53,000 miles, fresh paint, 3.0l w/ported heads and forged pistons(with only a few thousand miles on it), vortech sc kit (sc,fuel pump/lines, ect.), 50 shot of NOS, Diablo chip, centerforce clutch, and a few other mods installed by a custom car shop. What did I pay? $5,000.
It is a nice upgrade from my worn-out 91 SHO, and almost as fast as my turbo laser, which I will sell soon to upgrade my new ride.

I bought my 98 csvt almost a year ago. It just had a new clutch put in with new rubber and the car was in great shape. drove 6 hours round trip and paid 5200 for it with 91,000 miles. found it on auto trader.

I got my 98 SVT (82k miles) 2.5/3 years ago, from a "Trusted" Dealership. They replaced the front brakes, pre-cats and front tires. I had been looking for one for awhile, but just so happens when I was ready to buy, nobody in the area was selling. I had to pay 9000 for mine. Then a couple weeks later the clutch went out. Dealer would not talk to me. I have spent about 5000 since fix'n stuff, with no end in sight.
