Since this thread turned into "how much you bought your SVT for" I'll jump aboard.

I bought my 99 SVT 3 years ago for $7500 w/ 75k... adult driven and unmolested :)

I meant with my E0.

I'm on my 2nd SVT, remember? I was always unhappy about my E0 since it seemed to fall apart. I loved it, but it always let me down. Now...my newly acquired '99 is leaps and bounds ahead of what I had. I <3 my new one. Not to mention the deal I got on it!

I paid $6000 for mine in 2004 with 79,000 on the clock. I got it from Becker Subaru after a CEG'er traded it for a WRX.

I bought BLKOUT2 for $2200 September of 05....then drove it 30 miles and put 8K into it over the winter. :) I'm an addict.

I bought my 98 SVT with 71k miles in September 2003 for $7,300 (1 owner, adult driven). They were asking $8,400 but we talked them down big time. At the time, $7,300 was the absolute most I could spend. When we said we couldn't do the price he was asking and started to walk away, he changed his mind. :cool:

I bought my 00 SVT with 73k (blown motor) in May 2006 for $2,000. (1 owner, adult driven also). Overall the car is mint with the exception of the blown motor. New motor is on the way and should be installed in a couple months. The 98 SVT parts car was a freebie given to me with the purchase of the 2000. :cool:

Hey LUCA,what was wrong with that red SVT.
I called the guy 3 weeks ago and asked him about the car.
He said that the guy who was selling it invested almost 55 000 :shrug::confused::crazy::nonono:
in parts... and now is selling it for $5500.
I asked him WHY,but he said someting like "I don't know"
I hope that we are talking about the same car.It was located in Lansdale,PA.
BTW I bought mine from the same town:laugh::laugh::laugh:
 
bought 28 feb 2005 1500 down payment and 230 month x 24 months

one more payment and is mine LOL abouth 7000 and more than 5000 in repairs and mods and tight now is parked waiting to change the heads :( need more money for do that and a tutorial LOL

I think you did OK at $5500. How's the paint?

Jed, Petar didn't buy that red SVT, he bought a Silver Frost.
It seems that one of the other new guys bought the red one for $5,000.

I got mine w/ 41k three years ago for $8800, incl. a 30K mile warranty.;) If I had waited a few years, I could have picked up a nice 3L for that price. I don't mind, though. I've more than gotten my $$$ worth and enjoyment out of it already. Still my favorite car I've ever owned, hesitation and all.:laugh:

you guys have to see this thing. its a gangstermobile. the windshield has huge yellow lettering across saying "Yukka". whatever the hell that means. lol. the car is almost as weird as the family. they're a sight to see
