Used car finds

It's not a 96 but it's close and in Good shape too!

850csi

A manual tranny I'm sure is a must.
The 380 HP CSi was manual only.

the sellers nickname is twinkie!
haha

i couldn't believe how much these were going for a few years ago when i was looking to pick one up.
The CSi still goes for quite a bit, but a regular 850, stick or slushbox, with 60K+ miles on it can be had for a reasonable price.

BMW still hasn't delivered a three pedal, 12 cylinder car since the demise of the 8 Series. Meh.

Let's derail Kentucky Matt here. Back on topic.

This a lot of car for the money. From 1984:

1984 Ford Thunderbird 5.0 5 speed - $1900 (Shelby Township)

3:73 gears, full-length headers, MSD ignition, aluminum radiator, Competition Cam, Rhoads Lifters, Edelbrock aluminum intake, Holley 650, short throws shifter, cobra wheels. Have original invoice from Ford (listed for $13,753) and most receipts from Reider, Rousch, P.A.W, and Ford for the parts used to build car. This car has absolutely no rust whatsoever. Interior is complete with no rips or tears. You can't build the motor for the price of this car. The nose of the car appears to be high because there is an extra 5 speed transmission abd bell housing in the trunk along with the a/c compressor. Call 810-531-1615. $1900

I haven't seen a Scorpio deal this good since...maybe ever. You seldom see them with such low mileage. Add in the low price, and this one looks like a winner:

1989 MERKUR SCORPIO - $2750 (Waterford MI)

I hate you.

I freakin' love this car. It's better 'n a barrel of skanks:laugh:

Thin skanks, apparently. I figure the mouth of a barrel is maybe, what, a couple, three feet in diameter. Unless you're sticking to two skanks per barrel or fewer, those are going to be some emaciated loose women. For some reason "a barrel" conjures up, at least for me, visions of a plentitude. Myriad skanks, if you will. At least five, which is a lot to service all at once, at least on an empty stomach or without your tongue going numb.

This is cool. Only 75K on it. Note the presence of the 5.0L and the fact that it's a 1983, the first year of the Fox Cougar.

I'd like to snap it up if it goes real cheap, but I don't have a place to put it. Yet another reason why winning the lotto would be good.

That rocker switch below the radio is for premium sound. Flip it, and it pumps up the loudness of the system. I looked at a 1984 Thunderbird with 26K on the clock that had that feature, and it worked well.

Impossible.
I know from experience:cool:

 I'm so glad you answered that post:laugh:

That 1983 Cougar I posted went for $545.99 on Ebay.

Lot of car for the money. Wish I had the space to pick stuff like this up.
