yup

Well I started looking in the cities and it sounds like I might get a 2000 Exploder. :) I am excited. Only thing it doesnt have that I wanted was a sunroof, but I can live without it. It came from Las Vegas and has NO rust and is in really good shape. The dealer didnt have to do anything on it when they got it.

Subie......

Subie......

Nope... He decided to call me on his way out of town last night and tell me that he wont be back till tomorrow. I like the car but this explorer has less miles and I should be able to swing the payments and price. Im pretty excited about it.. Just gotta drive all the way to the cities to get it if I do. :(

If he is out of town, maybe his wife will be home alone.

bring it down to Hitech in Elk River
http://www.hitechmotorsport.com/

good guys. i know the parts manager and this is where my buddy has been getting his fiero tuned (still working with the GM system).

I'm pretty sure hitech doesn't have SCT. I can't remember off the top of my head what they use for their fords, but I remember they weren't able to tune Kyle Q's car (though they probably wouldn't have a problem with Jason's since it's not an 00 returnless).

That's correct they have Diablo software not SCT. Casey the tuner there has SCT on his own cars so he can tune your car if you have the pro racer package but otherwise you will get a diablo chip.

I am working with a dealer on a car and they are telling me that I wont hear until this afternoon about which credit union it goes through. It DOES NOT take this long. I know they are just sitting on it. Im starting to get really pissed off.

Northern Communities Credit Union FTW!

Side note: My floor jack juuuuuust makes it under the car.

have you been following the finacial situation right now? i'd be willing to be that since they have tightened up on credit lines, that is why it is taking longer.

I sold a car today and they didn't have any issue getting a loan. It was the 2000 SVT contour. Sold it for $5K. I think he took out 3.5K for it and was approved right away. He is 20 and has no credit so I was impressed.

I'd say there is something fishy going on in your case. Why didn't you go through a bank on your own? Why would the dealer be using a credit union? Don't they normally have their own major financing branches like Ford Motor Credit or GM Credit?

Some of the (used) dealers around here actually go threw the credit unions. Most people get a lower APR that way.

If you buy a new car then yes a dealer will go thorugh a major creditor like the ones you mentioned. I was looking at spending around ten grand. Yes, it is usually a WAY better rate at credit unions. In this case I got severly :censored::censored::censored::censored:ed over by a credit union. I will not be doing any more business through them. Needless to say I will be stuck with my car until I can get it payed off. Which will be as soon as is humanly possible.

Saw something "interesting" yesterday in Duluth. We walk out of the food court in the mall to have some kids (12-15) taking about some retard with a lambo blah blah blah. Look over towards sears and sure enough, there is a white lambo sitting there. Even the wife goes "who is the retard driving a lambo on these roads? How does he even drive it around this parking lot...he would be bottoming out every 10 seconds." Looked like this but white

I was about to high five the kids.
