Help! keys locked in trunk

ah, this happened to me about six months ago. where were you blue fuz?!

a AAA locksmith came out and got in for $150.

i had this happen to me with my accord once. we were able to get the back seat down but there was a huge sub box in the way. i was able to push it around enough to reach back and feel for the keys. all while at about 10:30 at night on a sunday at my buddys house with the wife and kid in tow :blackeye:

Sorry man, it just came to me :-/ :D

i actually did consider removing the seat. unbolting the bottom part first, then pulling it out. but it was getting LATE and really dark and my car was blocking my gf's car in and needed to get it open right then and there so she could go to work in the am. that kind of thing seems to always happen at the worst times lol.

^

Oh boy, that's funny.

Just enough room to weasle your way in. Do you think you could push the back side of that seat tilt knob to release the seat to tilt? Probably not enough room.....

Nooo not enough room. The knobs are too far back.

Worked out ok though...with the side bolsters already removed I just ended up deleting that worthless center belt haha :D

Have an appointment with Ford tomorrow to have my key copied and the new one programmed. $125 parts and labor total
