Didnt I say the gaskets are fine before two times? People need to believe me because I had the Sho-Shop one and had NO PROBLEMS!
since you've had one of these, may i ask what you think the effect of cut away butterflies would be on a 2.5L...thanks ..G.

Well we just got another order for the LIM!

We cant always afford to front cash up or group buys. We have in the past and been burned. Also we don't even have any LIMs to make a large run so we would need to buy at least 10 which would run $1k-$2k. Then we would have to pay machining costs, materials, tools etc... So we would be facing a large costs for something that everyone is hesitant to buy.

If you want evidence of what we can do look at our BBB's. If you want evidence of the fact we can be trusted we just refunded several people on a failed group buy on SHO Forum.

We need some people to step up for this so we know there is a need and demand. Right now this is showing no need or demand. Words are very cheap as we have found in the past.

Sounds good.
I have seen the quality of your SHO BBBs and I think this will be a great product for us.
I'll watch this and if we have a few other guys here that step-up so that you're close, I will join the list and send payment. I'll be spending more money on my Mustang this winter and don't plan on using this LIM until next year, so at this point I'm not willing to get a core and pay. If this shows enough interest and you are close to the quota, I have no problem doing that.
Hopefully guys here and some of the Cougar guys are also interested.

Im in, I could care less how much it costs!
Ill keep checking back for updates, my UIM should be shipped off to Extrude Hone in he next couple of weeks and we have a machine shop at work that could port match my heads to the specs of this LIM......

Count me in, I've got a spare '98 SVT LIM sitting here just begging to get bored out. I don't frequent the boards, but if anyone wants to PM me, e-mail me at michael.matas@yahoo.com, or hit me on AIM at dajesusonaim if this ever pics back up. I'll be going overseas with the military early next year until the following summer, so if I'm non-responsive during that time period I appologise.

nice how much does extrude hone charge for UIM?
-J

between 200-300 dollars IIRC. i think the old group buy was $230 that included shipping the UIM back to us.

But to be honest if you have a 2.5L it won't help that much....1.2whp and 1.1 wtq:blackeye:

Yeah....you read that right 1whp and 1wtq. He did do the dyno run the same day...which means the computer had no time to recalibrate to adjust to the increase of CFMS. But then if you try to dyno another day weather humidity etc etc could play a role and would also alter the dyno #'s.

Either way 3.0l's do pull in 30% more air then the 2.5L. SO the 3.0l's would have more to gain from this mod than a 2.5L.

Well why not start a list?? He said the least he can do in a bach is 5 but it will cost more. If there are 10 he will do this for the price listed.

So the list starts. Once you reach 5 aim for 10 etc etc.

Maybe they could also take non-refundable deposits to just cover their tooling costs. That way, if anyone backs out... they (and the rest of the list) wouldn't be impacted.

Sorry for the delay, I have to jump around a number of different forums to stay on top of things.

The Contour LIM GB is currently at Zero orders, so there is nowhere to go but up.

Mike

If we can get some orders then this can get going but right now the lacks of orders show very little interest and hard for us to front the cash to make this happen.

I posted a gb thread on NECO a while ago. Lots of reads, no posts. I did another post in it, to bump it, and find out why no one was even interested in it. Some people chimed in saying they couldn't do without their current LIM . I'm sure SE junkyard LIM's aren't *that* much.
