I'm waiting on several things (not from SHOSource though). I should know whether or not I can do this sometime next week.

Good luck with this group buy guys. I'm def not investing in my car anymore. Plans for a new car have been in works for a while now.
 
I would be in depending on when you need the money, please keep me on the "updated list" I am just kinda broke right at the moment but I do have an extra LIM laying on my work bench and I would love to get it in on this, just need to know about when to pay up, thanks

We are having to go to a different porter so we can give a quote on this till we get the SHO stuff handled.
 
I dont know why everyone is concerned with the gaskets. I had the sho-shop LIM with no problems with the stock gaskets. I'm sure Mike knows what he is doin.
 
So....is it only TX that is going to get on this? Another thing down in flames. I dont know why I even try with all the other GB's going down too.
 
Seriously guys, what is the problem here? Modded 2.5, 3L, FI...this should be a big upgrade for you. Why are there SO many questions? SHO-Shop made these in the past and they made gains of 10 WHP. These will be made (from what I understand) to the same specs. So, in the words of Martin Lawrence, "What the problem is?"
 
well, I won't even be needing this for about a year but if its about getting this done or not, I will be in now. I'll need to find a core LIM however.

I am 90% in. I'll know after this weekend.

And if anyone in AZ in interested in this, I have another spare LIM you could borrow.
 
Sorry for the Dissappoint, I couldnt get into this due to my car being down and still being down....

about 2000-2500 more needed to get my car up and running the way I want it then I would be able to get into this GB. I am still really interested and am hitting myself over the head for this one and my not being able to buy one right now! Someone should buy it for me and hold off on it till I pay them:eek:

If this fell in a month or 2 down the road I woulda been all over this and depending on how everything goes with the GB I may still be able to get one hoping for the best!

I'm also surprised that no one from neco wanted in on this. Anyone know how much this would be with only 2-3 people?
 
How many people are waiting till we get some numbers up there before they jump in?:shrug: Thats what I'm considering, If there were say seven on that list I'd send payment.

does anyone know what secondary butterflies they are going to use ? I'm wondering if they use those half cut away ones..what effect this will have on a 2.5L low end.. G.

If Bill wants, I'll pay to have the protoype LIM sent to me and dyno it on my car. Like I said before though, if these are are to the same spec as the original SHO-Shop ones, then it should be good for 10 WHP, which is what the SS ones gained. Furthermore, if you're waiting for more people to jump on the list, think about the fact that others might be in your same situation, and if everybody sits on the sidelines, waiting for everybody else to get on the list first, then we are never going to get anywhere.
 
Well CEG, you've let me down. This GB has been open for over a month, and I am the only one who actually committed any money. So, I'm pulling out and trying to get my deposit back from SHO Source. It's too bad that a great CEG'r, who didn't even need this service, invested a lot of his own time, and some of his own money into getting a vendor to make these parts for us, only for CEG to fail to come through once the process was rolling. It's also too bad for SHO Source, who had the possibility of offering us some great products that others don't, that we have shown them the CEG doesn't come through, and probably scared them off from ever wanting to work with us again.
