im not ready to talk about it yet it has emotionally disturbed me. i might need mental help now:crazy: i will say it wasnt pretty and there is a big pile of shiz i removed and replaced. among several other issues. yes it is running. tomorrow ill let you know how it drives:laugh: i did photograph the massacre. but it is safe to say i have kicked this thread in the sack. next i will be removing the engine and making way for its new powerplant
 
Injector harness was fubar
Injectors were leaking fuel
Coil pack was on backward so was the firing order
Egr tube is bairly attached at the header
Egr had no gasket
Ignition wires were cut and damaged
Aftermarket alarm hacked into everything
throttle body was loose and missing bolts
Everything was missing clamps and bolts
Vacuum lines missing and capped off
Intake tube messed up
Bunch of other small things

I will say though pwnt. Did do a nice porting job/very clean looking
You were pretty close man my hats off to you. You made a valid attempt and some of the work is done very nicely so don't feel bad at all you did ok especially having to deal with such a messed up harness.
I think with a little more time and backup he coulda got it running just missed slot of the basics

I feel bad that you were so close but you missed some really easy things (coil pack, firing order, couplings, etc...) It is the attention to detail and looking over the many pics here that should have helped you through this. If we got pictures of the work you had done already, we would have easily spotted the coil pack issue and you might have gotten it to do more than it had in the past.

Glad to see it running though seriously. Nice job bagged.
 
Yeah. It happens though. I'm glad to see it running. Be good to her whomever ends up getting it. I had some fun in that car. Bagged, you should post pics and updates when you swap the motor again. This thread must never die! Haha
