Spring Zing drive - question

Ian it is definately worth asking. Jess has done this just about every year we have gone with her finals.

All right I'll give it a go, but at best I'll have to make the drive myself. I won't be able to take the early trip with you guys. I'll look into it, though, but I can't get my hopes up. :blackeye:

don't worry, if you can make it I am sure there will be someone else not taking the side trip that will drive out with you

Any room for a noob? I may be doing work on Dan's (streiker2) car. He needs a new turbo mani. If I can get the time off from school (parents) I will go

not sure if I would want to take a side trip or just head straight to SZ. Jess is interested in going to Cedar Point, not sure if I want to. But if we don't head out with you guys I would be planning to take 80, etc out

If we go, we're in for the long haul as well with no side trips...

Jess found this information on Cedar Point

Does Cedar Point offer a discount on admission for groups?

Yes, Cedar Point offers discounted tickets for groups of 15 or more.
Click here for more information about the available programs or to
place your group order online. If you have questions about an order
you've already placed, please call 1.800.448.2428 (daily between 8
a.m.-5 p.m.).

Is there a discount for AAA members?

Many AAA offices sell discounted Cedar Point admission tickets to their
members. If you are a AAA member, check with your local office for
availability. Tickets must be purchased at a AAA office. These tickets
are not available at any of Cedar Point's admission gates.

So does that mean you'll be joining us then?

Mike and I are AAA members. I believe Elky is too, so we got that covered.

So who is NOT going to Cedar Point or taking a longer trip?

I don't have the funds or vacation time available to do something like that. I only get 10 days a year. Last year, I had to put in for a sick day the day after SZ just so I didn't have to drag myself in on the same day I got back from the trip.

With a summer vacation planned in August, I'm don't want to make SZ a huge expensive trip.

well I am on the fence, Jess is into roller coasters alot more then I am so she would want to go. we need to discuss if its worth going for us. but with a group and AAA discounts it would be alittle more worth it.

I also only have 10 days and plan to visit my brother in Cali in August/Sept time frame. but since I am only asking for weds to monday off now, four days I could get one more ...

i too only have 10 days as does Jess.
but we still want to go.
I do have AAA and i have only used it for discounts once, i think it was at a tire shop.

i have used AAA for the Trip Tiks before, but now with GPS who needs that?
haha

well Jess and I where looking up information for another weekend trip we are planning and I suggested looking at AAA, and then she said something about Cedar Point, not sure if it was on the site at the time or what but I figured we might as well look it up and see if they have discount tickets and pass that info on to everyone

Some of us want to. It's just a matter of getting a solid headcount so we can work out the details.
I didn't want to make it public (to invite others to join us) until our plans were solidified.
