yup

If you sold your other cars you would have no choice but to keep it out

I'm slapping on a set of snow tires instead of going searching for another set of drive wheels. Much cheaper.

I had it out last winter. While it was fine for the most part, handling wise, it caused a little bit of a havoc with the paint. It started to flake around the wheel wells.....so away it goes! I am going to miss it though. Then again in the winter I couldn't do much with it anyways with the roads the way they are....and whenever it snowed I was plowing snow with it...but never got stuck.

Yeah I have to say I'm a little afraid for my side skirts this winter. I'm not really sure what to do about them though. As for paint... Let's face it; this is not a show car and the paint is already far from perfect. If I had another car I'd consider storing it, but then, if I had another car, it'd probably be something rear wheel drive and it would get stored...

Just drive it - my car is way fun in the winter with blizzaks on E1's. I watch out for the giant ice chunks on the road, but anything else doesn't phase the ground affects, not even flying into a ditch

Haha... Sounds like the voice of experience talking about that ditch flying busines...

Maybe............

Snow was about as deep at the bumper on most of the road - went down a hill and into a clearing and it got so deep it was going over the windshield..
No damage, not a single scratch or dent.

that is dan neinstand's old car. its got koni/gc suspension, oz superlegerra's, SHM headers i do believe. its a wicked car. tons of money in it. someone needs to pick this up before i go find a bank that'll give me 4k, LOL

if you do, pull it apart and sell everything. i'll give you a couple hundred bucks for the shell :D i need a cleaner one anyways.

I haven't heard back from him yet, but that guy that bought Chris's car said he looked at it as well and it comes complete with a salvaged title :help: so yea not sure if I care for it anymore, at least not at that price.

Headers are not SHM. If they were we would have sold them off it. lol They should be MSDS headers. I believe the car is fine. You just need to get over the fact that it has a salvage title. Good parts on it though.

I'll save my 11g extra thank you very much. lol

That car has the same motor as the S4 I bought and is much larger/slower. Cheapskates should have bought the W12 version. Besides there is a RS6 here in town for about $20k. It has a Twin turbo version of the 340hp NA V8 in my S4. 0-60 in 4.7 with a huge sedan is crazy. To bad it had over 100k miles on it.

OMG did you check the book on that Phaeton? It is listed at $16k. WTF? The guy is asking double book price for it. ha ha ha ha ha good luck with that one sir.

Yeah, I noticed he was a little off in the head on that price. That logic, the Navigator, when new was $49,000 should still be worth $15K. I like the way he thinks!!!!
