yup

It's probably a little webber grill.

No it's a huge sucker. I will probably just bust it up into pieces to get it out though. The assembly is almost 40" tall and I would guess around 5' wide. So getting it out the doorway of my house will be a challenge even if it's partially taken apart.

elraido if you're really interested I could shoot you a pic...

What type is it? Free standing? The insert from an acutal fireplace?

Free standing? I don't know... It's the whole 9 yards

A big honking box that has two ~4" intakes for cold air, then two for warm air to come out (pushed by blower fan), a big chimney out the top, and glass windows/doors in front.

We bought a used 08 Lincoln MKX with every option last night for my Wife. We traded in her 07 Murano which was on lease. We were told that they could buy out our lease and we'd be free and clear. We gave them all of our buyout info. The buyout was higher than trade-in value by about 1-2k but they said they could still do it. My wife found the car we wanted listed online for $1k cheaper and the salesman seemed to get really annoyed saying that it shouldn't be listed for that cheap but he had to do that price. Anyway we go there to buy the car and get into the finance dept. I go through the contract and see that they are charging us ****ing $900 for the lease buyout. We call the salesman into the room and I start *****ing at him. He says he told us he couldn't do a full buyout which was a complete bold faced lie. Every single time we had talked to him previously he told us they could buy it out and we wouldn't be paying for it. I told him and the finance person to get out of the room so I could talk to my wife. My wife being the person she is wanted the car so we couldn't really do much about it. I could have *****ed at her and made her leave but then my life would be hell after that. Don't ever buy a car from Ken Kincade at North Country Ford in MN. That old pecker can suck my balls. If the car was for me I would have walked out of there even if they decided to pull the charge off. That **** is shady. I'm going to send my brother in there tomorrow with bag full of my daughters **** filled diapers and have him stuff them under the seat in each car in the show room.

I would have told the wife, we are leaving right now. If this is the car you really want, we can come back tomorrow and get it and strong arm them into changing the lease buyout.

A sales person will normally do whatever they can to get you to buy that day. Especially when they are so close to having you sign. There is a MKX here for sale for $29K (but they are VERY flexable in their pricing, they were asking $7K for the navigator, and I got it for $4600)....I keep looking at it as I pass it everyday to and from work.

We did get a pretty good deal. It was a 08 MKX with everything Including Navigation. It had 30k miles on it. We bought it for $26,999. The cheapest I could find in the US similarly equipped was only 1 or 2k less. With the dealer offering to buy out the lease it made sense to go with them. I really wish they would have told us about the charge up front. We probably still would have bought it.

It's nice. Her Murano was really nice too though. I probably would have kept the Murano if it were me because it would have been $7k less for the lease buyout.

I think she made the right choice. Honestly, I think the MKX is the perfect size and has a lot of nice features. How is the Nav system in it?

I buy cheap old vehicles :(

But I've never had a car payment :)

I look at it like, oh hey the 2010 XXX car is pretty sweet, maybe I'll buy one in 7-8 years if they get cheap enough

A 2010 Fusion Sport! I am actually now debating between a 2007 Fusion V6 AWD or the Jag.

I agree I like the newer Fusions. I wish they had a little more hp.

As far as the Nav in the MKX. It's pretty nice but it is extremely annoying that you can't use it while driving (i.e. can't enter any info). It gives you a big warning anyway telling you that you shouldn't use it while driving and then it disables it so you can't use it. My S4 gives me a warning as well but doesn't disable anything. I'll have to see if there is an easy way to bypass it. Ford's Sync system is pretty cool. My wife setup her phone so it recognizes it whenever she starts the car and it downloaded all of her contacts so she can hit the Sync button and say "Call Name" and it will call them.

I am not a huge fan of the Sync system in my moms escape. I think I need to spend more time learning it to really use it though.
