yup

I'm thinking about getting something new and I think I'm gonna try and find a good condition Mark VIII. I fell in love with them last year. IMO they are one of the last good cars Lincoln made. I'm not a big fan of the mid two thousands Lincolns.

Ok guys I need help. I bought a Dell S2209W flat panel last year and have used it off and on on different computers. I bought an Asus G71gx at the beginning of this school year and am trying to use the Dell flat panel on it. It works but there's a lot of noise and I believe it might be because the flat panel is HD though I am not using the HD cables. I'm not sure if it's that or something else. I am using Windows 7 on the laptop and I am not sure how to see if the screen is running at 1080P like it's supposed to be. Any ideas?

What cables are you using? Like HDMI, DVI, etc...
Well I am just using the regular type cable. I'm not sure exactly what that's called? It usually has blue ends. The flat panel DID come with the weird high def cable but my laptop doesn't have that kind of connector for an external monitor. So I have no idea what to do.

So you're using VGA, but DVI is available on your monitor by the sounds of it. VGA is analog, DVI is digital. It has nothing to do with the resolution of the picture.

You should be able to view the resolution being set in the display properties from windows. It will show you the resolution for both the built in monitor and the external monitor.

Speaking of computers, we put together my friends on monday night. Windows score of 7.4. I am pleased with myself.

This is correct. Though I have changed the resolution settings and that did not fix it. The best way to explain it is that, when there's an edge of something on the screen, the edge moves. It looks like little ants crawling. That's the best explanation I have.

It kinda looks like the picture is moving a tiny bit left to right really fast.

Hey is there anyone close to Blaine that possibly has a extra alternator? Mine went out yesterday and I'm trying to find one perferably used. If not I'll I just pick one up at the store.

"I need two of the big ones... and Harry, I need em' by tonight"

What is said friend doing with this computer? A little out of my budget :)

He plays DDO on it and since he got a blu ray drive, he is using it as the mutlimedia center for his 55" plasma. All in all, even with a new monitor, he was well under $1500 for everything.
