I am buying mirko splitter mold

bagged, would you be making them out of fiberglass? the place i was going to have make them would be using a mixture of fiberglass and plastic which would be faaar more forgiving. it would be great if we had a real alternative to just plain fiberglass which is sooo easy to break :blackeye:
 
ok, i just got off with Mr. Mirko himself. got his personal cell number :cool:

im buying the mold and some additional hardware as well.

Doc is going to pick it up for me when his is in the area.

ill then meet with him to grab the mold and then proceed to meet with the company that will produce them for us.

stuff is in the works here!
 
oh and the company that will make them for us will handle all the shipping via drop shipping. they'll handle any damage claims etc.. its a pretty good set up/deal they have going and they do this a LOT so it should be easy peasy for us.

are you taking a truck/suv? i not only purchased the mold but a fiberglass splitter he had laying around and 75 mounting brackets that he had already made.

I dont have an SVT, nor do I even own a contour anymore.

Imma troll with an escort :laugh:

Besides I live in south dakota here. I might as well be attaching a sheet of glass to the front of my car and seeing how long it lasts.

They look nice, but I could never drive with one where I live, especially with all the gravel I drive on. Why do you think I am converting an Escort GT to AWD?

I officially like you now! I had a 91 escort gt I bought for 2K from a female college student. it ran wonderfully well. I put in coilovers and bought new headlights, turn signals and fog lights. I got a nice muffler from a friends 300z. I would love to get a BPX drivetrain goin on out here. Maybe BPT if not BPX.

its the Mirko splitter. gotta give props where theyre due. not only that, but its sounds cool. :cool:

ill be getting info together on this asap. it will be a few weeks before i have any real numbers though. just save your Christmas money your auntie and uncle give you for a future GB. those that get in on the first batch will get hooked up!
 
Don't make them too cheap, that will make the 13 extra splitters I have been hoarding worthless...... :rolleyes::help::blackeye::laugh:
