And a shopping cart handle spoiler in C/F to match.
I know it's yellow.
I wouldn't want kevlar if my car was any other color. it would look weird. I think the little yellow with black will be ok. We will have to wait and see.

ok well my guy is already got things planned out for this. all i need is to get the mold over to them.
as soon as i get the mold to them and they say that they can for sure use it, ill get a GB going. we need at least 15 splitters to be made for the first run. im going to grab 2 probably and i know mattyk definitely wants one.
im just tossing ideas around right now about how i plan to make it work. this is just rough guesstimate right now...
im thinking, for the people who get in on GB #1, ill sell them for $265 plus shipping. thats the same price they were from Mirko! and at least $50 less than they will be after the GB (future buyers). with the mold, i purchased a bunch of mounting brackets but ill still need to get more screws and stuff. and, after those brackets run out, ill need to source more of them. so, the people get in at the beginning will save some good $$. BUT, in order to get the batch going we need to pay up front. so everyone will have to pay the cash up front for this initial GB. hey, you save at least $50 for it :shrug: not to mention, you wont have to wait as long as people who get them after the GB.
i believe, not sure, they said cf splitters would be $100 more. but ill wait till i meet up with them in person to discuss that.
these will be drop shipped directly from their wharehouse. so i dont have to deal with that stuff. they box it up, ship it and deal with any damage claims. and they know what theyre doing, so its better for everyone. people who are local are lucky enough that they can pick them up in person and not have to pay any shipping fees, which can be up to $75-$85 (includes a handling fee). shipping fees wont be needed till they'd be ready to ship out to you.
nothing set in stone yet. just in the planning stages and what im thinking the costs will be.
just to get a rough idea of how many people would be interested in getting in on the initial 15. just an informal list here. nothing binding. just want to see if we can even get this off the ground..
so if youre cool with sending in $265 up front to get in on the GB for the polyflex splitter, add your name to the list. these probably wouldnt get started till the beginning of January since Christmas is right around the corner. we'd be looking at probably 10 to 12 weeks before they'd be ready to ship out.

Will they be repairing the mold from Mirko? That mold has been abused over the years and they never fixed it up. Most noteable the ripped up edges on the very back side where the splitter meets the wheel well. I would propose that they modified or fix the mold so that the splitter wraps around the bumper and into the wheel well, much like the side skirts do.

It is a hampster he crammed 40 bucks worth of pellets into and a funnel into its butt attached to the intake. The hamster displaces roughly 2997 cubic centimeters after eating that much.
5 bucks for the wheel, 40 bucks for the pellets, 2 dollars for the hamster, 2 dollars the funnel.
He had a dollar to spare to get himself a McDouble.

no. this is basically just to see if we can even get close to 15 people. if we get close enough, i might be able to swing for the rest.

everyone is free to add ideas/suggestions/tips to the potential upcoming GB but its not here yet. i posted this in THIS thread because a LOT of people have already seen it and been following it to see what happens/ed. no need for a GB thread until its actually time.
as for the mold, we'll take a look at it when we get our hands on it. my connection with this designed and sells corvette body kits. he's already suggested we wrap the splitter around the back of the bumper so it attaches back there and is more aesthetically pleasing. but thats all just discussion at this point until we get the mold into the hands of the experts.

I like the idea of wrapping the Mirko around the back of the bumper as well.
I would also make this in a GB Interest check just incase somebody has missed this thread..... (Sry im slow and just read the thread, not sure that everyone is following it tho)
