Look familiar to anyone? ..........Think of youtube.......the "MONSTOUR" is home... :)

Thanks, the wheels will be for sale shortly. As well as the bumpers and interior. Its being sacrificed to bring my 98.5 back from the grave :)

over $300 easily....

started tearing the motor out, and in 2 hours in the pouring rain, its almost out! Then I just gotta pull the exhaust and the rest of what im taking and then its being scrapped.

you parting out that SF svt?and your 98.5 is going to be amazing , one of the nicest svt in canada

Thanks man, and Yep as for the silver car, its being parted out. I'm taking the motor, exhaust and trunk. Rest of it I'll pull to keep/sell if its worth value and then the rest gets crushed

Headlights are both basically brand new. Won't be for sale though for a bit, I'm using them to make a mold for something first and then ill sell em.

I hope to have the motor out tonight, or basically out anyways ...not much left to do, and the weather is cooperating so far...

how much is it to buy a car from the states and go pick it up?do they tax you at the border?

I don't know, I picked this car up in Canada. US would mean the car $$, then gas there and back assuming you would be trailering it back yourself (cheapest option) and then border fees. Much easier and cheaper finding a Canadian car for sure...

I'm going to grab the VIN and post it up under the SVT goes to heaven, since this one will never be a "car" again..but more like a metal cube! After the grief of pulling it, it deserves to be crushed :O

Now i just need to swap some of my stuff onto the motor and prep it to drop er in. Shouldnt be too much longer now...woooo!

You can see in those pics just how bad the body of that SVT is, and the rockers basically crushed in when we put a jack there first...but its providing me with an 04 Escape 3L, full custom exhaust that sounds like no other CSVT ive heard, and more misc things as well so it was definately worth it. And incase anyone was wondering, this is the silver SVT from the youtube vids (go to youtube and search "monstoursvt" without quotations if you want to hear it)

I have always had a passion for the simple stock sound of a csvt...hahah for, but the vids your talking about on you tube. The sound, and the speed he pulls, made me buy my csvt in 2008. You have to find out whats up with the full custom exhaust.Dig in there and try to see the secret of that sound ...names Disco buy the way. ive been enjoying the thread keep it up....(cant believe you got the MONSTOUR that's crazy it's like the unicorn or some mythological creature.......hahaha)

true lots of cars can do 260 its just that was my turning stone. Seeing that one certain car years ago on you tube......so it means a little more for me at lest .... little peace of personal nostalgia if you will....haha
