Sean's CSVT #5906 Build Thread !

I'm not sure about the guy, I actually bought it off a member on here who got it from his buddy, who bought it from SVT SNOB.

Yeah I know the underside is terrible! It collapsed when we were jacking it.

As for the motor, Aaron bought it. Its an 04 Escape motor, and has 03 Taurus upper for now, going to an ST220. 96Blackse (Nima) and Mani both confirmed that, since they built it too..

You can't tell what year a motor is just by looking at it. If you change the valve covers and the UIM you can make it look like anything. Id believe Nima and Mani. I have nothing but great things to say about them.

Agreed, and considering I personally know the guy who bought the motor, I know its an 04 Escape engine. So who cares! lol

Did more teardown on the SVT today, its veryyyyyy close to being turned into a popcan! ....swapped over the ECU, pulled the tranny off, stripped interior, etc in a few hours, so im making some good progress

If you are going to part out, what is the shape of the window mouldings for each door? Im talking about the strips that are at the base of each window. Mine are totally corroded and are dissintegrating almost as bad as your rockers.....

They are in pretty decent shape. I think one has a "buldge" in an area where its lifting a bit but they arent corroding or anything.

Today I pulled the rear SVT bumper, pulled the y-pipe off the exhaust, and then i painted it all black (stealth :p)...piping was a bit rusty so it looks 100x better now. All I have left now is to pull the drivers seat out, and then she gets taken away.

Just a few more pics- nice bodywork on the former "MONSTOUR", :

How the interior sits on it, how it will be scrapped...(minus seats now) :

In to see the pics of the engine dropped in the bay!

Sean if you want to keep the belt with A/C and run an idler the part number is Dorman 34223

But since the timing cover has an idler you can just do what Alex did and get a shorter belt. (if you are going to get rid of the a/c)

better pics of my old block! ....

6hrs each way, loooooooooooong day lol.

Liitle exhaust/motor sound teaser, the night i brought her home. Clutch was toast so dont mind me revving, it was all under 2000rpms anyways....ya, she is LOUD :)

Setup is: 04 Escape 3L, Weapon-R Y-pipe, Weapon-R headers, NoyzBoyz custom cat+back exhaust. This is the setup im dropping in my black car, although it will receive an ST220 UIM vs the stock one, but that shouldnt change the sound.

freshly painted grille ring, black stazi gen2 mesh, oem grille fitment (ring to backing is like oem) so it doesnt stick out due to the thicker mesh

The rear panels are fully together now and look amazing...fronts are being reassembled now and should be done in a few days. Using polyurethane for reassembly to guarantee it will stay together.

And finally scrapped the silver parts car....info added to All SVTs Go To Heaven :)
