yup

I give it 6 months before you're bored and buy something else...

Dooo eeeet.

I actually plan to keep it for at least a year. :) Ok, I plan to keep it a long time or until it starts to tick me off. There are little upgrades I can do here and there to keep it fresh.

I say buy it back as well, depending on the price....and if you feel comfortable driving it.

I would be going for northerns :) Wait, is their season over? After some looking, it has been over for a month. Guess that means we would go after crappies and/or blue gill.

Indeed it is over. So technically you are not supposed to fish for them. :ponder: If you 'accidentally' caught and released them on crappie minnows no one would care, but might be a little tougher to sell your story if you are using sucker minnows 'for crappies'.

This last summer we were using smaller minnows for crappies on Pelican....we still kept getting Northerns, even with out a steel leader on the lines.

Had a SVT guy email me yesterday complaining about his car. I put a motor in his car back in 2007. He's mad because he said he has a trans leak, a main seal oil leak, and his CV boots were leaking. All are apparently my fault 6 YEARS later! WTF is wrong with some people? Nothing was ever noted when he took the car or when we drove it and put miles on it. It's a car, you have to maintain them! Crazy....

No kidding, I'm sure they only put a few miles on it in 6 years.

And yes, it is time to fire the car up. I only ran mine once this winter so I'm due as well.

He said he stored it for a while but still that was 6 years ago. I'm fairly certain we never installed a diff in his trans so it isn't even possible for us to cause a trans leak. With his long storage I suppose the main seal could have dried up and started leaking after restart. The CV boots leaking are an odd one I'd have to see it but he's in Two Harbors last I heard.

If it was Tony, he literally would have only put a few miles on it in 6 years. :)
