yup

I think I was finally able to get rid of those bees I had behind the brick near my front door. I bought some product called "Delta Dust" on Amazon and blew that stuff into the entrance at night/early morning when they were inside the nest. Since then I haven't seen a bee. I know there are still some alive in the nest so I'm going to pump that •••• in every night for at least a week. I found another nest under my deck that I took care of with a raid can. I have to knock that down once I know they are gone. Damn bees!

I pulled a motor out of a Cougar yesterday (swapping a clutch) and I almost finished pulling a motor out of a SVT yesterday (3L swap). Took about 3 hours (2 guys). I'm waiting on parts for both so I couldn't do much more.

I'm also working on some air scoops to put behind the grill of the Jag. It's a curved scoop to direct air up into the intake tubing behind the front grill. The intake tubing comes into the grill area from the top. Another XF owner asked me to look into it. I wasn't sure if it would make much of a difference, but my car did notice the increased air flow. I bent some sheet metal up for one side (I didn't have enough to build one for the other at the time). The car popped check engine light after a short trip because one side was seeing more air flow vs. the other. I still need to find time to build another one. I need to figure out how to make my sheet metal bends cleaner. Even if I had a sheet metal brake I don't think I could make all the needed bends with it.

I may finally finish my flooring project in my house this weekend. I put hardwood in upstairs (cherry wood) and I bought oak treads/risers which I'm going to stain to match. All the boards are stained and I have two coats of poly on them. So far they look great. I need to put one more coat of poly on according to the can. I haven't worked with wood/stain/poly much so it's been a learning experience.

Chris sounds like you need to get yourself an english wheel.

Isn't that mainly for smoothing out metal and making curves?

Yes, isn't that part of your issue is making the curves? I would think between the break and the wheel you could make it work.

I suppose curves would be optimal but I went with two 45 degree bends to direct the air up. Then I bent up the sides to keep the air in the scoop. Further up where it mounts I bent up some tabs. I might use a grinder to score the spot I want to bend so it bends at that point.

Once I get these stairs installed I'll start working on it again. I need my garage back.

Yup...the Montour or if you prefer, the Condeo is for sale in the classifieds.

I'd love for one of you local guys to buy it from me so that there is always the chance that if it does go away, I have the opportunity to maybe see it rollin' on the streets.

Good thing I'm not buying it, I believe the last time my car was "spotted" it was because I had the garage door open. LMAO

In all seriousness, I wish you were keeping it. I do understand that priorities change though and I don't blame you one bit. :)
